Tasting tips :

Very intense purple robe. The first impression is robust and full-bodied.
Swirling releases aromas of red fruits. Blackcurrants and cherries predominate, together with notes of torrefaction from new casks.
On the palate the attack is dense and powerful, and the main aromas are now raspberry, pine and torrefaction.
The finish is very long with round smooth tannins.
A great wine, still young, that will keep from ten to fifteen years.
To be drunk now to savour its secondary aromas and robust quality, which would suit roast duckling. To be laid down to achieve a greater complexity.
