Tasting tips :
The colour is an intense garnet red.
A robust open nose with smoky and fruity aromas. On swirling, red fruits (blackcurrant, cherry, and bilberry) dominate.
A lively attack on the palate, aromas of fruit and liquorice are presented in a well rounded and robust manner.
Tannins are well structured, clearly present and well blended.
The finish is long, embellished with intense notes of liquorice.
Drink now with a Canard aux olives or if after being laid down for several years (5 -7) with a Daube de sanglier. (wild boar casserole).
