Une culture adaptée à l'agriculture biologique

Respect of the soil/ quest for quality

  • Constant quest for quality through small yields production (to enhance the aromatic concentration).
  • Winter pruning specific to each parcel contingent on grape variety and destination (red or rosé wine). This pruning allows us to master the vines' yields and thus the quality of the grapes.
  • Inactive restfulness of the soil during 5 months.
  • Specific unbudding that improve grapes ventilation and optimise its disposition on the plant for maximum exposition to sunshine.
  • Fruit selection in order to keep the best grapes.

Organic agriculture specificities

  • Integral ploughing of the soil (no weed killer or pesticide is allowed).
  • Uncut-grass during winter (to sustain and favour biodiversity).
  • Stimulation of the natural defense of the grape to reduce phytosanitary treatments.
  • If necessary, phytosanitary treatments are used. Those treatments (with a base of sulphur and copper) are authorised in organic agriculture and are adapted to both the vegetative cycles of the plant and any possible blight.
  • Specific treatment to each parcel with concern about the grape variety. All doses are reduced to the mere minimum.
