The Domaine de La Sauveuse - Organic agriculture
The Domaine de la Sauveuse is located in Puget Ville, France, in the area known as the gold triangle of Côtes de Provence.
The estate is bathed in sunlight and nearby Mediterranean waves, which lend on favourable climate. The "ponant" wind from the southwest blows during the most scorching periods of summer. It cools the vineyard and prevents the vines from burning. In winter, sea winds from the southeast bring temperate air that prevents frost.
The 90 hectares vineyard AOC (the government certification which guarantees quality) Côtes de Provence produces excellent grapes such as Cinsault, mourvèdre, Grenache, Syrah, Carignan, Cabernet-Sauvignon for the reds and rosés, and Ugni-Blanc and Vermentino for the whites.
We choose to work on small yields (35 hectoliters per hectares) in order to produce top range Provence wines and to establish our brand both nationally and internationally...
Organic wine-growing allows us to produce a high quality, natural wine while being in harmony with nature.
